I've been getting back into browsing Etsy a lot more recently and have discovered some amazing handmade beauty shops to add to my wishlist! Three out of the five I've picked to show you today are British shops! Always handy with those sky high postage fee's and it's lovely to see more handmade beauty in the UK.

My first pick is Morning Calm - and of course the first thing I'm drawn to is the simply beautiful branding. All of Morning Calm's skincare is designed for sensitive skin, with facial soaps, cleansing oils and a soothing rose toner. There's also some yummy looking lip balms in a huge variety of scents and what really caught my eye - an all natural nourishing deodorant in a stick form, super handy! I've been put off trying a natural deodorant so far because they're thick creams but this I love! I'm eyeing up a purchase asap.

Next up is Ravenscourt Apothecary. I was introduced to this shop by Liz and it was love at first sight! I am ridiculously obsessed with soap at the moment, facial soaps especially so I love that there is such a selection here from the Avocado & Charcoal pictured to Pink French Clay and Russian Valdai Clay. All Soaps at Ravenscourt Apothecary are suitable for vegans and always palm oil free. I got carried away with the soaps but they also specialise in botanical perfumes - with a victorian twist! (for any classic book lovers these are a must see)

I discovered MBotanicals completely by chance - they're a brand new shop on Etsy and based in London! I sense big things in the future for them... The range is only small at the moment but I already see some interesting products! In particular the two cleansing clays they have on offer, pictured is the Gentle Enzyme Cleansing Powder, but I really like the sound of the Renewing Clay & Bamboo Cleanser as it has some ingredients I've never heard of before; Copaiba Balsam, and Andiroba oil, great for acne and inflammation. Definitely a shop to bookmark.

More soap?! I wasn't kidding when I said obsessed. Bon Soaps is another lovely british shop with a great ethos and approach to soap making. I'm dying to order that Coconut & Lime soap, can you imagine how amazing it smells?! They also have a Beer shaving soap which I'd buy for Michael, saving him from the horrendous chemical laden shaving foams he's used to. There's also bars of Grapefruit & Eucalyptus, Rosehip & Hibiscus and Honey & Oats, they all sound good enough to eat.

Lastly we have Pollen & Wax, a dreamy skincare range that will hook you in from the moment you click for an innocent browse. Honestly, they're all I can think about. You can tell every last little detail has been thought about here, from formula to the sticker on the sleek glass bottles. The range is fairly new but there have been constant additions in the time I've been obsessing over them, a new blemish serum, a range of luxe oils, potent detox mask and new facial creams. I love that there are also kits available divided by seasons for each skin type. I can't decide if I am April or September as I feel a little bit of both most days.
What do you think of the shop's I've picked?

These all look lovely. So tempted by Morning Calm - what incredible branding!

I'll have to check out Bon; their stuff sounds amazing! I would never think of Etsy for cosmetics, but once I discovered Herbivore Botanicals, I knew there was a lot more to investigate.
