It was really hard to pick out my favourites this month simply because I've been all over the place, moving, travelling back and forth a few times and starting back at uni! I just really need a nap, I think I will take October to just nap.

First up I have two hair products thanks to my recent hair cut! (see here, it's so SHORT) I love it & I already want it shorter! I think I have a problem...
The This One Volumising Dry Shampoo has been saving me from some serious flat hair problems this month. It's a typical dry shampoo, a little powdery and fab at banishing excess oil, but now my hair is lighter I'm finding this is working so much better in the volume department, no flat hair here thank you.
I also picked up a tiny travel size of John Frieda's Frizz-Ease. I've never tried anything from John Frieda but of course have heard plenty! My hair can be quite unruly, frizzy, wavy (aka a general mess) and I thought I would give this a go and see what it does for my hair. I've been quite impressed and have used this after every hair wash and a few times on dry hair to smooth any pesky patches. It has most definitely helped me 'transition' into having shorter hair by keeping it calm so I don't have to whip out the dreaded straighteners everyday.

For skin the Balance Me Congested Skin Serum* has stood out to me this month. As we all know I do have problem skin that just wont play fair with me at all lately and I've been trying everything that may help. I am quite new to the Balance Me range but I am so impressed and have added a few more things to my wishlist! I've been using this serum as a treatment just on problem areas to help calm and soothe any redness and inflammation. It really does seem to work and my skin seems a lot calmer in the morning when I have used this at night.

To perk up my tired complexion I've been using a little more pink than usual, it's even shocked me at times. The Balm Frat Boy Blush has long been at home in my makeup bag but was feeling a little unloved thanks to my fling with cream blush over the past few months. We're back on speaking terms now and this has been the only blush I've reached for on the rare days I do decide to actually bother getting that far into my makeup routine. Applied lightly with a fluffy brush this gives me an instant 'full of life' peachy glow. I'm sorry I ever doubted you Frat Boy.
For a pink lip (who am I..) I've been using my Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick in Fuchsia Ristic. I love these balmy gloss hybrids from S&G but usually reach for my 'safe' choice on a day to day basis, the shade Bashful, a lovely pinky nude that I adore. Fuchsia Ristic is a much brighter, almost neon pink but in a balm form so I can apply it niiice and sheer, my favourite.

Have you tried any of my favourites? what did you think of them?
