October Faves

I've been trying out a few new bits and bobs this month and it was SO tough keeping this selection edited to five products when it finally came to photographing them. But I'm happy with my final choice now as these are all pretty fab picks.

I finally got my paws on the Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel, a bit of a cult cleanser in both the green and conventional beauty worlds (waiting for the day that "green" is the conventional choice...) this silky pink balm has the consistency of a gel meets balm hybrid. It's quite thick, but not solid like a true balm. Oh and did I mention it's pink!? When massaged into skin it becomes extremely workable, transforming into an oil and melting away makeup and daily grime with ease. I have used this both to remove makeup and cleanse the skin and it works amazingly well, the pumpkin enzymes keep skin smooth and a whole host of nourishing vitamins and oils soften. I can really see why this is a fan favourite (also, it's pink.)

Next in line we have the Neal's Yard Remedies Night Time Remedies To Roll aromatherapy treatment. I picked this up at the blogger event I attended (post with pretty pictures here) and I think it has top spot this month as it's been my most used item and more than worth it's bargain price of £6.50. I keep this on my bedside table and generously apply it to my pulse points before bed. The scent is really calming, with lavender, rose, neroli and chamomile and helps me drift off at night. I'm not sure I'll ever be able to live without it.

The mysterious bottle labeled Treatment Oil is my third pick this month, a custom blend by Sadie of Vedani Botanicals. I can't wait to introduce you all to her range in more depth in the coming months. I was so honoured and grateful when she offered to make me a custom oil serum to fight blemishes and fade scars. It's potent stuff and a little goes a long way, but I've been using it religiously and have loved the results, especially on painful under the skin spots and for speeding up healing.

Finally, my last two faves are ones that I mentioned only recently in my latest little haul post. The Jane Iredale Bitty Brow Kit and Kure Bazaar's polish in the shade Rose Milk. I made good choices with my purchases clearly because I love both of these! The brow kit is the most perfect colour match for me and I love that it comes with the little brushes and spoolie, I even use the wax and I'm so lazy when it comes to the finishing touches and extras. My only niggle is the slightly clunky packaging, I feel it could be a little smaller for when travelling. The Kure Bazaar polish is the most gorgeous nude pink. I will post some swatches on Instagram in a few days! It's sheer but that was what I wanted and can be built up easily for a solid baby pink colour if you like.

What have you been loving this month? Have you tried any of my picks?
