Loving Lately #32

This weeks faves are a pretty simple trio. Cleanser, moisturiser and concealer. Keeping it super simple because I have nowhere to go and nobody to impress!

My favourite moisturiser at the moment is the Bee Good Honey & Wild Flax Daily Moisturiser*, I mentioned this a few days ago in my post on moisturisers for fussy/picky skin. It's fuss free and I really like the gel formula and the fact it comes in a tube! I wish all of my moisturisers came in tubes or bottles. I've been really impressed with Bee Good so far and have read a lot of positive reviews of the other products in the range! They arrived on the scene with a bang (and biscuits) ((always the way to a blogger's heart)) and it seems we're all smitten! I would definitely recommend having a good look at the range, it's small but I guarantee you'll fall in love.

Next up in the trio we have my favourite ever concealer the Vapour Illusionist Concealer which I have featured many times before on this little blog! I love this stuff, it's such a perfect colour match and a creamy easy to blend formula. The coverage isn't the best but that stuff doesn't bother me too much anymore, skin is just skin and sometimes scars are there too. The reason I'm featuring it today for the millionth time is because I've been using it all week and loving every second of our time together... but unfortunately I think we only have another week left before it's time to say goodbye forever (perhaps a tad dramatic). I'm unsure if I'll repurchase or try something new for a little while, but I'm sure I'll be back for more! ;)

Finally I have also been lovin' the M Botanicals Renewing Clay & Bamboo Cleanser*. You may remember I featured M Botanicals a few months in a post on Etsy shops, well Rebecca was lovely enough to send me this cleanser as a thank you and I have been in love ever since. This is a powder cleanser so you mix it with water to form a paste before getting started. It's a mix of Kaolin, Bamboo, Copaiba oil, Tea Tree and Acai... to name just a few and leaves my skin feeling so soft and smooth. This isn't an exfoliator as it isn't 'scrubby' and the mix feels quite creamy as you massage it in. I think I will definitely have to write up a full review of this soon as it's quite special.. and smells like sherbet!

What have you been loving lately?

  1. I bought that cleanser but how do you mix it? Like what ratio? As mine always comes out really runny which makes it difficult to put on my face haha! It does still make my face really soft though :)

    1. Hey Amber,

Thanks again for trying the cleanser and sorry its been a bit too runny for you :-) The easiest way of getting the right consistency for you is to put 1/2 a teaspoon of the product onto the palm of your hand and then drip water until you get the desired consistency. It should start to foam and then turn into a paste, a few more drops will help it to foam and be of a good consistency to massage onto your face. It is definitely better to add the water from your other hand rather than the tap! Hope this helps :-)

  2. A powder cleanser sounds interesting. The ingredients sound amazing, though. I'd love to give it a try.

  6. I love your observation that skin is just skin and sometimes scars are there too! Hear, hear! I've never actually heard of that concealer or brand before, other than on your blog. I've now been sucked into beingcontent.com so I think some damage to the wallet might be on the cards today!
