Nailberry Iced Mocha

I didn't think it was possible for there to be a fancier nail polish brand than Butter London, but wow Nailberry have managed it!

I was recently sent the shades Iced Mocha* & Strawberry Jam* from their winter collection and I couldn't wait to get them on my nails! I ended up painting both straight onto bare nails there and then... surprisingly the colours worked together and I rocked that look for a good few days (without a single chip) before deciding to do a proper manicure for a blog post.
I decided on Iced Mocha as the colour is so unusual and unlike anything in my collection, a gorgeous purple-y brown with a slight shimmer. These polishes are seriously creamy and super glossy, applying perfectly with just one coat, I think the quality speaks for itself, and it should for £13.50 a pop! I layered on some Butter London Quick Dry Topcoat for some added protection and we were good to go for 6 days without a mark. Perfecto! (the photo above was taken on day 4... I think, my application wasn't the neatest this time around, oops!)
It is also worth noting that Nailberry are cruelty free and have a '4 free' formula - no formaldehyde, toluene, DBP and camphor.

I have my eye on Formentera, Almond and Noir Berry for a future splurge *le sigh* such gorgeous names.

What do you think of this shade?

  1. This is such a pretty shade!! I've not heard of this nail varnish before and it's pretty pricey but would make a great gift x
