Loving Lately #22

I started my third and final year of university yesterday and I'm already feeling the pressure of the workload to come! Luckily as I study Fine Art I don't have a full dissertation to write, but I think putting on a degree show sounds a lot harder! I have no idea what is going to happen to this blog of mine in the coming months, I am going to continue to plan out my posts in my notebook each month, but perhaps not quite as many ;) I hope y'all can forgive me (and stick around!).

Anyway, back to some beauty talk... This week I've been slathering on body lotion like nobody's business, as not only has it suddenly turned arctic round these parts but my holiday tan has been looking a little worse for wear. This lovely Elemental Herbology Watermelon & Cucumber body moisturiser* has been a treat to use and better yet is formulated to prolong the life of your tan! I will admit the smell isn't my favourite, I think it's because I absolutely hate cucumber, I know... I'm a weird 'un. For keeping my skin soft and banishing pesky dry bits though, this is a winner.

I recently repurchased the REN Clearcalm 3 Clarifying Clay Cleanser when in duty free and I am so glad to have this back in my life. It helps control the perpetual breakout that is my face and calms redness and any excess oil with ease. I like to massage this into my skin morning and night and leave it for a few minutes as a mini mask to decongest and soothe skin. I think I have used this everyday this past week and it has really helped to keep any new blemishes from forming.

Lastly is that super tiny bottle there, a 3ml sample of the crazy expensive Bioeffect EGF Serum. This serum is designed to do all sorts of miraculous things but I was most interested in it's ability to encourage cell renewal and growth to help with some awful scars I have. I use a tiny amount in the areas needed most and I really have noticed a difference come morning, it's only slight as these things do take forever but I'm really happy to have something working on my scars!

What have you lovely lot been loving lately??

  1. I've been loving the Ren Clarifying Clay Cleanser for a while now, but everytime I use it I get happy all over again ;-)
I've been loving the Pai Rosehip Bio Regenerate Oil, it's worked wonders on scars and break outs.

  2. Watermelon and cucumber sounds like a really interesting combination. Like you I'm not the biggest fan of cucumber but I love the smell of watermelon! Good luck with your final year at uni, I'm sure you're going to ace it! <3
