Loving Lately 21..

I'm currently having some serious sun, sea and sand withdrawals and I can't help but think it's thank to this awful rainy weather we have returned home too! I know a thousand miles away is a scorching hot beach where I was sat just a few days ago... and this makes me sad.

My usual routine has gone out of window this past week as it's just been too hot to be messing about with a skincare routine. I skipped moisturiser most mornings to keep the sweaty mess look at bay for as long as possible (usually an hour, so glam) and have been using the Melvita Narcissus Extraordinary Water as a toner/moisturiser hybrid as it contains hyaluronic acid, glycerin & lemon water to name just a few lovely ingredients to leave my skin feeling fresh and bright.

SPF has been essential as even the slightest patch of my ghostly skin on show could burn in minutes in the midday sun. I used the UltraSun Family SPF 30 for all over my body & have had no issues with burning (except for the last day when I forgot to do one arm... just one arm and burnt so quickly). I've still managed to get quite a nice tan for just a week away and because of the fancy packaging this bottle will last me through next summer too!

I've been a bit of a germaphobe this past week and have been whipping out the anti-bacterial hand gel at any opportunity, this Cuticura one is my fave as the smell is unoffensive (like cucumbers) and fades quickly.

I know you're supposed to embrace the au natural look on holiday but my skin is so awful that I just had to cover up problem areas with something to help me feel a little better about it. The Seventeen Stay Time was the easiest option for me and didn't seem to melt away in the heat, I did set it with a little RMS 'Un' Powder though to ensure I didn't have to worry too much. A huge pair of sunglasses to hide my identity and we were good to go ;)

What have you been loving this week?
