Klorane Citrus Pulp Shampoo & Pomegranate Conditioner.

I'm not really that adventurous with haircare if I'm honest, this daring little leap to trying Klorane was much deliberated for quite some time. But my hair has been rather dull and drab lately as it desperately needs a cut and colour, and I'm waiting until next month for that expensive trip.
So I purchased this hair duo last month to see if a new hair care routine would perk up my lifeless locks and I was pleasantly surprised! I'd not heard a great deal about Klorane before buying these, but I liked the sound of them anyway and they were both rather affordable, pretty much the same price I pay in Boots for my usual Naked Detox Shampoo.

I went for the Citrus Pulp Shampoo first as it's designed for frequent use and to restore the radiance and vitality to hair using vitamins. I wash my hair every other day usually, it's not overly greasy or particularly dry on the ends but it starts to feel a bit grubby if I wait any longer. This shampoo however makes my hair feels so light and clean I can usually wait for 3 days without hassle. I haven't noticed a great deal of improvement on shine but I'm putting that down to the fact my hair is chemically treated and really needs re-dying a nice bright red asap. It does feel smoother and generally nicer than before though, which is always a good sign!

Next up is the Pomegranate Conditioning Balm for coloured hair. They don't have a Citrus Pulp Conditioner for some reason so went for the next best thing that my hair needs, colour protection. Apparently pomegranate extract is supposed to help the colour bind to my hair but as it has already faded a lot I wasn't expecting any miracles. My first impression was "oh my god this is the greatest conditioner of my life" honestly. I was definitely exaggerating but I have a huge issue with conditioners making my hair flat, heavy and greasy feeling really quickly, even if I spend 10 minutes attempting to rinse my hair clean. My hair isn't really thick or thin, I'd say it's pretty average but there is a lot of it, like a LOT. My hairdresser commented last time I had it chopped saying she had to make 8 or 9 sections in the back of my hair to cut it whereas she normally only does 3 or 4! crazy. With the Klorane Pomegranate Conditioner it rinsed completely clean and my hair still felt so light and bouncy (and of course conditioned) I was so impressed.

Would I buy these again? I think I probably would, they're so good for the price! I'm about half way through the shampoo but the conditioner is practically full. I want to test out other haircare too, I'd love to try Pureology but it's double the price and perhaps Trilogy haircare too!
