Neal's Yard Remedies.

Last week I attended my first ever blog event. It was nerve wracking stuff, I have to say! Being naturally very shy and not knowing a single soul that was going I almost chickened out. Luckily I did go and ended up having a very nice evening indeed!

I've never used Neal's Yard products before but I had heard of them as my mum is a huuge fan & I've been in to their lovely covent garden shop before, so I knew a little about the brand and what to expect (and had been eyeing up quite a few of their things!). Upon entering the store, (which I didn't know existed in Manchester) I was greeted with a drink, nibbles and plenty of bloggers! I put my name down for a lovely hand and arm massage and had a nosy around the store before the treatment. The store was a lot bigger than I imagined and had every Neal's Yard product you could think of, plus more. After my ever so relaxing massage we learnt a little more about the brand, how it started and their wonderful ethos.
I was also lucky enough to have a second treatment later in the evening, an incredible natural facelift massage from Rachel of In Harmony Therapies who gives her treatments inside the NYR store. It was SO relaxing and calming. She massaged half of my face for a few minutes and let me look in a mirror to see. The difference was amazing.. I was smiling on one half of my face! Luckily she did the other half so I could go away with a huge grin. I've never had a facial massage before but it was so lovely, definitely something I would consider again if the opportunity came about.

Towards the end of the event I had a lovely chat with Danielle & Jessica & came away with a lovely goodie bag filled with beautiful NYR products that I can't wait to review for you, plus a purchase of my own! :)

What have I learnt from this experience? Blogger events aren't all that bad & I will definitely be looking for those blue bottles again!

Have you ever been to a blog event?

  1. I am not too sure if there stuff is even alivable in the US
but I have heard so many good reviews about their products that
it makes me so tempted to try some out.
The beauty balm seems like a killer from what most people
    said about it!

    1. Hi Velia,
We are certainly available in the US through Independent Consultants who sell our products all over the country. If you'd like to find one in your area, you can email inquiries.us@nyrorganic.com.

  2. Never been but I would love to..I think is the best way to meet people and sharing opinions face so face is a completely different thing.. Many maaaany years ago ( nearly 10 exactly) I was part of an internet forum and it was great because we all had similar passions to share and to talk about, and some of these people are my dearest friends now..despite the fact that i have moved away, we don't talk as much and we are not part of an internet community anymore...
this is just to say: keep me updated with the next blogger event..would love to meet your pretty faces in person :)

  3. Blogger events sound like so much fun but I don't think they even happen in Canada. Plus, I don't think I'd even be invited to them yet because I don't have many followers at all although I appreciate every single one of them!

Neal's Yard products sound quite lovely and I've heard some great things about their products!
