Loving Lately #17

I've gotten a lot of new and exciting beauty things recently (months without buying anything then BAM a huge splurge... anyone else do this? just me??). I was most excited to get the BBB Beauty Box, as soon as I saw the contents I was absolutely sold, I've wanted to try the Trilogy Rosehip Oil for so long, and had been meaning to pick up one of the new Bourjois blushers too. Those two together paid for the box, so the other 12 goodies made it all the more exciting! I'm a sucker for a good travel size.

First up is the one and only Trilogy Rosehip Oil. This has been getting quite a lot of love on blogs recently and I was torn between purchasing this or the Pai Rosehip Oil. I'm sure I'll try that one next but for now this dinky bottle is suiting me just fine. It's light, not greasy on your skin and over time helps to fade scars, banish blackheads and generally make your face a pretty lovely sight to behold. We'll see about that but I do love my facial oils so this is a very welcome addition to my little stash!

The Bourjois Cream Blush in the shade Nude Velvet is simply lovely. I don't own a shade like it and the formula really is as lovely as everyone says.. it's so silky and easy to blend! I've not noticed the staying power to be all that great but personally that doesn't bother me one bit. I also don't think I'll pick up any more for now, as I'm not keen on the other colours but I do hope Bourjois release a few more asap!

Finally, my ultimate fave this week.. Neal's Yard Remedies' Wild Rose Beauty Balm*. This is a do it all cleanser, moisturiser and treatment mask. I've personally only used it as a cleanser as it is incredibly rich, most likely too rich for my combination skin. The main ingredient is Rosehip oil, over 30% of it so it's great for decongesting skin. This feels so luxurious, I may like it more than Emma Hardie. At £37 for 50g though it is raaather expensive! One for the christmas list perhaps ;) I can tell it's going to last me a long time though, as you need only a small amount for a perfect cleanse. I'm also over the moon it doesn't actually smell of rose!

What have you been loving lately? :)

  10. I've recently picked up 2 Cream blushes from Bourjois as part of the current 3 for 2 offer in Boots, 1 of them being Nude Velvet and the other one is Healthy Glow. I have yet to try them but by the sound of things, how they're so easy to apply- I know I'll end up loving them as much as every blogger :) Because I'm currently loving cream blushes, like you Annabel I'm wishing Bourjois will release more shades in the future. The more, the merrier. :) But my battered purse begs to disagree. Oh well. I'll shut it right up. haha :D

  11. Love the Bourjois cream blushes and the Trilogy Oil sounds really good too xxx

  12. Annabel! have you tried Neals Yard Power Berry Facial Mask? It is AMAZING. I've repurchased it three times. Love that stuff. Oh and the arnica and seaweed foaming bath for when you feel exhausted is incredible... Such an amazing brand... :)
