Indeed Labs Hydraluron.

When I first heard about the Indeed Labs Hydraluron Moisture Booster I was a little sceptical about the claims but knew it was something I wanted -better yet- needed to try!

Now £24.99 is a lot to be spending on a large pink box with a very small tube of clear gel inside, pessimistic? me?! But purchase it I did and now 9 months later and onto my second tube I'm here to tell you my thoughts.

Hydraluron is a blend of the worlds purest hyaluronic acid and bio-engineered red marine algae to increase blood circulation. The increase in circulation then helps the hyaluronic acid be absorbed deeper into the skin. Hydraluron claims to increase cell turnover, reduce skin roughness, plumps skin to restore elasticity and allows for better absorption of other products.

So, have I experienced any of these? Yes and no. I'm going to firstly say a big fat no to the cell turnover, I've had scars for 6 months on my cheeks now and it doesn't seem to help any spots or scars heal faster for me. My skin is quite smooth except for blemishes and a bunch of tiny milia on my cheeks. Again, I have seen no improvement from Hydraluron in this area, I rely on AHA's to hopefully sort that out (eventually)...
I do feel that my skin is so much more balanced when I religiously use this though, I used to have quite oily skin but my skin is rarely oily anymore thanks to discovering it was just dehydrated and now leans towards the more normal skin type. My main problem now is blemishes (when will it end?!).
I apply the Hydraluron after cleansing and toning but before any oils and moisturisers, I only use about half a pea sized amount as it spreads easily across skin and sinks in almost immediately. I can tell something is needed on top as my skin is left a little tight feeling and drinks up any moisturiser I apply afterwards.

I've been using this morning and night now for around 9 months and it has definitely changed my skin for the better. It obviously hasn't cured me of all my skin woes but I'm definitely pleased with how much is has helped balance and normalise my skin! I probably will continue to repurchase this for the foreseeable future as a tube does last me such a long time, around 5 or 6 months! If you have oily, dry or dehydrated skin this is definitely something I would recommend looking into as it could be the light at the end of the tunnel!

Have you tried Hydraluron

  4. I love mine! Although I used it in the winter months and don't really need it anymore, I think you see the most benefits when your skin is the most dry anyway. Great review!
