Loving Lately #11

I've had the Paul Mitchell Colour Protect Reconstructive Treatment waiting around to be used for a few months now. & I've now finally dyed my hair so it's been getting some well deserved love. I like to make sure I give my hair extra TLC when it's coloured, especially for the first month or so and use haircare specifically suited for coloured hair, as I've found they really help look after my hair and prolong the colour just a little longer. This is basically a souped up, super fancy conditioner you apply to clean damp hair and leave on for a few minutes. You can use conditioner afterwards but to save time I mix them together. It repairs the hair, extends colour life and even contains a sun protector. So far I just like how soft it makes my hair feel, time will tell how we feel about the rest!

The Clarins Gentle Exfoliator is one of those blogger products everyone seems to be loving! So of course I needed to try it! I have a tiny little sample here that I've used morning and night for the past week, and I really like it so far. It's a lot like my REN toner, but I think the results are a lot more noticeable  I've found the creepy (yes, creepy) patches of milia I have on my cheeks are disappearing one by one, so for that alone I am over the moon and craving the full size.

My trusty topshop top coat is sadly no longer with us, but instead of mourning too much I nipped to boots and picked up something new and shiny! The Bourjois 1 Second Gloss is a gel type top coat with silicones to make your nails appear really smooth. Perfect for those awkward glitter polishes with rough finishes! I've only used this once but it's doing an amazing job at keeping my nails looking spick and span 4 days in! Plus it should be made compulsory that the fab fan shaped brush comes with every nail polish ever made.

What have you been loving this week?

  1. I have been loving my Lemony Flutter from Lush and Blistex ... I know, kind of random. But I need all the moisture I can get!

  2. That top coat sounds interesting. I always opt for Seche vite, although it pains me to spend so much on a top coat! Does it dry quickly?

  12. Trying to decide whether to get the Clarins or the REN toner - I know I want at least one after discovering Caroline Hirons' blog! I guess you'd recommend the Clarins one?

    Love the blog :-)
