Cheeky Purchases.

I've been a little naughty recently & made a few purchases of things I've wanted (& needed!) for ages. First off I ran out of both my usual day & night moisturisers and needed replacements asap. I thought about it for quite a while, very carefully... as you do when buying moisturiser, it's important. I decided to try something new, risky when it's both but hey, may as well. I ordered the Elemental Herbology Moisture Milk for day (early days but it's looking like love) & then the Origins Make a Difference treatment for night, I like it but there is one pesky ingredient making me very unhappy with the treatment... so much dimethicone! oh dear, not sure why that's needed in moisturiser.
When making my Origins order I got a free 30ml pot of their Starting Over moisturiser and 3 other generous samples! I only bought the one thing, so I was very happy with that indeed! The Starting Over is absolutely no use to me but I'm sure my mum would like it!
After that expensive venture a few days later I picked up a replacement of Lush's tea tree toner water as I'd ran out and been meaning to buy a new one. It's super refreshing and calms my skin when it's playing up.

Finally, another trip into town and I came away with the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush finally! and saw a new brand (I think?) to superdrug 'This One' I thought I'd try their volumising dry shampoo as they have the leaping bunny logo on their packaging (and that made me happy). I also went over to Boots and splurged with some of my Boots Points on a gorgeous little Stila trio eyeshadow in the shade Goddess, a new minty bourjois polish and a collection eyeliner to continue my practice for the perfect flick. I had saved enough points to buy a bottle of Marc Jacobs daisy finally but I couldn't commit to spending them all at once like that. And of course now I regret everything...

I'm pretty happy with my purchases and the shopping bug has been lifted for a while now! It seems like I spent a lot but it was over the course of a few weeks, 4 of those were free samples, a treat from the boyfriend, bought with boots points and the Elemental Herbology was on offer on Look Fantastic when I bought it. I'm such a savvy shopper ;)

Have you splurged recently??

  5. This One is indeed a new Superdrug brand :) I work there so I know lol got a free sample of the dry shampoo as well! While I don't think it's great as a dry shampoo, it's by far the best dry shampoo I've used so far for giving volume xo

  9. I wish I could get to try Origins but it's not sold where I live. The closest thing to it is Nuxe... I'm saving up for that because it is expensive!!! Nice purchases, enjoy them all sweetie xx
