Travelling Light.

I thought I'd show you my travel make-up bag as I'm away enjoying the easter holidays! (sort of, we're just having some work done on our flat at uni, nothing fancy happening here). I decided to pack at light as humanly possible on the make-up front because 1) I'm lazy 2) There's no one to impress in a village the size of my thumb.
Though typical I get two lovely big spots and don't have my heavy duty concealer, foundation or spot treatments, that's just the story of my life.

For base I packed my No7 Essentially Natural foundation in the shade Calico, obviously that was the wrong choice but at the time I thought I'd be fine, it's easy to work with and blends easily into my skin almost like a tinted moisturiser. I do think it is just a tad too pinky toned for me though, at home I usually mix it  with something else. I also brought along the Collection Illuminating Touch as my highlight and concealer combined, I love this, it brightens up all the areas I have pigmentation and redness and is great under the eyes.

I also packed my Mavala Double Lash Serum though I'm terrible at remembering to apply it, Urban Decay eyeliner in Zero and a 'just incase' addition with the No7 Exceptional Definition Mascara and NARS eyeshadow in Ashes to Ashes - nope, haven't used either yet.
Brows require the simple-as-pie Barry M kohl pencil in brown, and for cheeks and lips I have the Stila Convertible Colour in Lillium (multi use products are a big fat YES) and Stila All Over Shimmer Duo for some *sparkle*. Tools not including brushes are my old, basic boring tweezers, models own eyelash curlers and some hair bits 'n' bobs.

& that. is. it. Daily I'm using 5 of them max, the rest are for show, or if we actually leave the house. But then all the chocolate eggs would be lonely, and we can't have that... ;)

  5. Mixing is the way tog o when you buy something of the wrong color and don't wanna just get rid of it! I do that too since I have yellow undertones in my skin but the one in my foundation is pink.

Thanks for sharing what's in your travel makeup bag! XD
