Recipe: Strawberry & Pineapple Smoothie.

Can you believe the sunshine in these photo's?! I was rather lucky as it started raining a few minutes later, typical northern weather!

This smoothie doesn't contain any banana, perfect for people who hate banana's as I know they exist... luckily it's still thick and tasty thanks to the yogurt. It also shouldn't need any additional milk or water as pineapple and strawberries are pretty juicy fruits!  I had some blueberries hanging around in the freezer so threw them in too but I couldn't taste them in the end if you don't have any.

Makes 1 generous serving
Ingredients:
1 cup frozen pineapple
4/5 strawberries
1 small handful of blueberries (optional)
4 to 5 tablespoons Vanilla Yogurt

Optional:
Ice cubes (You shouldn't need to add any ice if you freeze your fruit)

Make sure you let your frozen fruit begin to thaw for a few minutes before you start blending it all together (especially if your blender isn't the greatest like mine) to make it a lot quicker to blend up.
Serve in a silly freebie coca-cola glass and you're good to go! *note to self buy some nice glasses if you're going to be taking pictures of them!*

One last note... ENJOY! This smoothie was delicious, my mouth is watering now, must nip out for some more strawberries ;)

  3. This looks so good. I've never tried pineapple in a smoothie! My dog totally freaks out if I try to make a smoothie or blend soup or something, the blender scares him more than the hoover x

  9. This looks amazing! You just reminded me I have a load of frozen fruit in my freezer but my yoghurts off, damn it. Great that it's a banana free recipe as I am allergic to them! I can never find smoothies without bananas in in the shops/cafes, such a pain. xx
