The Budget Facial Oil From Botanics.

Facial oils are everywhere in the beauty world at the minute, if a brand hasn't got one yet, it's probably because they're busy trying to catch up and we'll see it soon. When Botanics relaunched itself last year with it's lovely new packaging, they also introduced a couple new items into their range. This facial oil being one of them I had to pick it up, I couldn't resist the dinky little bottle and at the time I'd never tried a facial oil. I was intrigued!

I've been using it ever since as a night time treatment when my skin is dry, dehydrated or looking dull. It's not something I reach for all the time as my skin doesn't need it, I find this to be quite rich for my  particular skin type but a drop or two added into my moisturiser at night and my skin is left nourished and feeling great, especially during these past winter months. I've also used this once or twice quite liberally almost as a mask, left it to sink in where it's needed then wiped away excess and continued with my moisturiser. This way my skin can take what it likes and I'm not overwhelming it, super effective when I have dry patches.

For £9.99 (currently half price!) the Botanics Facial Oil is a great 'starter' oil if you're scared to splurge on one of the more expensive facial oils such as the likes of Clarins, Kiehls and Antipodes. I don't think you should be scared if you have oily skin either, all skin needs the good oils and you may find your skin to balance out with the introduction of an oil to your routine!

  9. I picked up this product a few weeks ago and have been using it religously. I am totally in love with it...but with everything I now think is there something else out there that might be better?

  10. I brought this a few weeks back and haven't blogged about it yet. BTW I am totally in love with your second photo, it is so good! I love this and I've really enjoyed using it and think I've had good results on those days when my skin has seemed a bit parched! But like all beauty obsessives I can't help thinking what else might be out there.
