Quick Reviews #4 - Pai Skincare Set.

I've been testing out this little pack of Pai skincare for over a week now until most of the little pots have run out and I'm really quite sad they have, so that's a good sign! ;)

The kit contains:

  • x1 5ml Avocado & Jojoba Hydrating Day Cream for Dry Sensitive Skin.
  • x1 5ml Chamomile & Rosehip Sensitive Skin Cream for Hypersensitive & Redness Prone Skin.
  • x1 5ml Geranium & Thistle Combination Skin Cream for Combination and Oily Sensitive Skin.
  • x1 5ml Macadamia & Rose BioRejuvenate Cream for Age-Prone Skin.
  • x1 5ml Camellia & Rose Gentle Hydrating Cleanser.
  • x1 4ml Kukui & Jojoba Bead Skin Brightening Exfoliator.
  • Muslin Cloth

  • I've used everything atleast twice and my favourites have definitely been the Cleanser, Exfoliator, Hydrating day cream and combination cream. The dry and sensitive creams aren't really necessary for me but I've tried them both anyway, they're both a little too heavy for me and smell way too strongly of rose (A reoccuring theme with pai), and I really dislike rose scents. The Cleanser is also rose scented but a little less nose offending and the fact that it's so beautifully creamy and a great cleanser... I can forgive it's smell. It reminds me of a gentle, less thick and more creamy Liz Earle's Cleanse & Polish (something I don't get on with). Perfect for removing light make-up or as a second cleanse.

The two moisturisers I've been loving and have used up completely now are the Avocado & Jojoba Hydrating day cream and the Geranium & Thistle Combination skin cream. Both are lovely on my skin but if I was going to purchase a full size it might have to be the Hydrating cream as it's £5 cheaper than it's combination counterpart and I don't own anything like it! It will be perfect for when my skin is  dehydrated or a little dry in areas.

I am completely smitten with the Kukui & Jojoba Exfoliator, but it's a little out of my price range and will probably stay that way, at £20 for 50ml! I love how the consistency is not too harsh, and as soon as you add a little water it turns into a milk and washes away leaving skin super duper smooth and bright, added to my wishlist atleast for now!

Have you tried anything from pai or will you be picking up this kit too?

    11. Hi Annabel, I recommend that you try the Pai Echium and Argan Gentle Eye Cream. It's a lovely lightweight, soothing eye cream. I am on my second tube and don't go a day without it, xx

    12. I've been a fan of Pai ever since I started using that muslin cloth a year ago! I recently had to buy a replacement and they sent me a couple of those samples, a Chamomile and Rosehip moisturizer and a Camellia and Rose cleanser. Didn't like the cleanser so much, I prefer it when a product rinses off clean and this one left a residue behind, but the moisturizer (Chamomile&Rosehip) is out of this world.
I decided to go ahead and try their other stuff, so ended up ordering the kit you just reviewed. (Btw the price may have increased to £8).
