Loving Lately #6

A simple little selection today, with an old favourite, an old faithful and something very cheap and cheerful! an egg-cellent bunch! (get it!? cause' it's Easter!....)

Anyway, this week (thanks to being rather ill) I've been a mess, my skin and hair have both been suffering as a result and I've definitely needed some TLC. In the skin department I've relied heavily on the REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask, mainly because I kept forgetting to put my clarisonic on charge and my skin needed a good exfoliating. What better than this orange wonder - often forgotten about as I don't like to over-do it on the exfoliating front with my army of aha containing toners, face washes and treatments. Using this twice over the week my skin felt a lot more normal and has helped speed up some nasty red lumps hanging around, foul creatures. They get you when your down don't they?! Who needs spots when they're sick, it's just plain rude.

For hair I didn't challenge myself too much and slathered on a load of Superdrugs Coconut Oil (can you believe this stuff only costs £2.29, it's great) and whacked my hair into a bun before hitting the hay. Next day and 3 shampoos later my hair is once again soft and sleeker instead of a birds nest. I'd call that a major success!

Finally onto my favourite smell in a bottle, Maybe Baby. Pretty sure you've all heard of and smelt Benefits good old signature smell from way back when. I found this in a random box a few weeks ago and my love has been rekindled. I'm not joking when I say this bottle is old, years and years old, I couldn't even guess as to when I got this, ask my mum! ;) We went through a "must have everything from Benefit immediately" stage for a while when I was younger, ahh the make-up memories....

  9. I've heard so many good things about coconut oil! I tried shea butter in my hair but it just made my hair look greasy and droopy! Maybe I should try something as light as coconut oil~

afterall, I wand soft silky-un-birdnest like hair too!
