DIY Washi Tape Frames.

I live in rented (& pretty awful) student accommodation  And like most rented accommodation we're not really allowed anything on the wall, no nails ever, blue tack is frowned upon thanks to it's staining properties and certainly no sellotape. However, washi tape is my saviour thanks to being much kinder to walls than normal tape and a bonus as it's also pretty!

I have a little collection of washi tape and thought I would make use of my newly printed instagram prints by displaying them on the wall. I'm really happy with how they turned out and brightened up my dreary cream/yellow walls!

Now to get creative with the rest of my little prints! ;)

  1. Such a practical but adorable idea, thank you :)

  2. I've never heard of washi tape but it looks awesome! When I lived in university halls I bluetacked up my whole room, and then got a pretty hefty bill when I moved out meaning I hardly got any of my deposit back! Boo!

  3. What an awesome idea! I absolutely love washi tape (I have 3 rolls of it right now). Awesome idea! :)

  4. Oh wow! I've had this kind of tape for a long time and I use it to decorate birthday cards and the like. I never thought you could use it like this! Very pretty and there's no fuss about going to the store to buy a frame for your smaller pics!

    Thanks for the idea~! <3

  5. This really does look cute! Where do you order your instagram prints? I'm trying to compare prices and quality and see who is the best!

  6. So pretty, such a fab idea :-)
