Monthly Faves

Woah close up! Sorry if that crashed your computer or anything.. I wasn't sure I was going to do a monthly favourites this month, simply because I can't remember what I've been using! I've gotten a lot of new things lately which has been ridiculously exciting ... but not enough chance for me to class anything as a favourite for the whole month! (yet...)

Something I DID purchase this month and have loved using every. single. day. is the NUDE Purify Cleansing Wash. I'm probably going to have to write a full review on this because it deserves one. I've never had a cleanser leave my skin so soft after use, not even my precious Emma Hardie. It's helped a lot in clearing up that awful breakout I had the other week and it feels lovely and luxurious to use. Thank god I'm slightly obsessed with Kate's blog and caught her mention of this weeks ago.
Another little gem that has slightly taken over my life is Jemma Kidd's Eye Essentials Shimmer Shadow in the shade Mocha, a lovely warm brown with a subtle shimmery finish. I've worn this nearly everyday this month! Normally eyeshadows aren't my thing but it would appear things are a changin'! Unfortunately I can't find this anywhere online to buy anymore since JK went bust. Boo.

Another fave is the L'Occitane mango flower hand cream. I'm rationing this simply because it smells ah-may-zing and it only comes as a tiny tube. It's like a beautiful perfume for your hands. It's taking me so long to type this post out because I keep stopping to smell my hands.
Two nail faves this month, No7's base coat seems to do a good job at helping my polish stay on a little longer than usual, which is always handy when you're as lazy as me... ;) Topshop's Mercury Miasma has an odd name but is truly a beauty! I don't normally like shimmery type polishes like this but it's  honestly lovely and if you're careful only needs 1 coat, bonus!

Lastly is just a simple eyeshadow blending brush from No7, a bargain compared to the likes of mac brushes. It's soft, washes well and well... it's a brush so I'm not sure what else to say?!

Only a few favourites this month, I like to keep things simple! Have you tried any of my picks?

  6. I really like the look of the eyeshadow, it's a shame that it's not available anymore! I too love No7 brushes, even though I've got Real Techniques and MAC, they do a great job! That nail polish is beautiful too, but I've decided not to buy anymore polishes this year as I have over 50 Models Own plus a load of other brands too! Oooh and L'Occitane hand creams are my fave too!
