Loving Lately...

It's Friday (YES!) and I thought I'd share with you my top 3 picks this week. Sometimes I find it really hard to remember and decide what has been my favourite products at the end of every month. Especially when I chop and change so much, what I'm loving one week can be completely different to the next and then forgotten by the time it's monthly favourite round up! So, here we go...

This week I have been trying to really boost the moisture in my skin and bring back the glow as it's been tortured by icy winds and really dried out. I noticed flaky patches with my make-up on so I've been adding a drop of the Antipodes Divine Face Oil to my morning moisturiser to set my skin off right for the day. It sinks in to my skin easily with my usual moisturiser and leaves me with a fresh base and no dry patches. I've also been adding this to my night cream or moisturising masks to give extra nourishment.

After this I've been using my new Dainty Doll Foundation (in the shade 003 medium) which I am slightly in love with. It gives a lovely satin finish that is light and blendable, but also gives decent buildable coverage. I also can't believe I am 3 shades up in the colour range, this never happens, I usually always get the palest shade possible! I'll post a comparison soon with some of my other foundations to show how beautifully pale it is.

I only posted about this lip balm 2 days ago, but I swear my life is better with it around. At night I've been using it together with the Nuxe Reve de Miel for its lasting power and waking up with baby soft lips. I've decided it's not something I'd repurchase because of the price, but I'm going to love it and savour it while I can!! (The good news is it's lasting well, so we can all put off the panic stations for now ;))

What have been your top 3 this week? Is this something you'd like to see weekly or am I being OTT and should just use a notebook instead of spamming you? ;) heh!

  1. I've been lusting after the Dainty Doll foundation for so long because my skin is so fair; especially in winter when almost every foundation I own looks orange on me!

  3. I like to see these weekly! I'm the same with not being able to keep a track of what I've been using each month! It's a really good idea putting a facial oil in with your moisturiser, I've got a winter-dry-face at the moment too, so I'll definitely be following your lead on that one! Thanks for the tip! :)
