Loving Lately.. #2

I cannot believe it's been a whole week since my last loving lately post, since then I've given up cows milk for lent (already craving it) and started on the dairy free stuff. Rice milk? Not crazy about it. Soya milk? even worse. This is going to be a long 40 days, my only dairy coming from my yogurt addiction, and I can't give those up too, that's just cray-zee!

Anyway, my top 3 this week! A pretty luxe selection of goodies if I do say so myself. Currently the Aesop Parsley Seen Cleansing Masque is the only clay mask in my collection. And even though I've been trying to save it for emergencies I used it twice this week (like Aesop recommends) and I loved it. I love the smell, I love the strange thin texture, I love how it dries all patchy and I love how fresh it leaves my skin feeling. Winner.
Another love this week has been the Bumble & Bumble Brilliantime, which I am still getting used to using. It's an odd little product, too much leaves me with greasy locks and too little sees little effect at all. I'm still trying to find the balance and work out if I prefer it used on dry or wet hair at the moment, but so far so good! It adds subtle shine and a super tiny bit of hold that can give you texture.
Last but not least is the Origins Pinch Your Cheeks blusher in Tropical Pink. A super lovely flush of pink for your cheeks. A welcomed addition to my massive collection of three blushers. Yes just three.. All along the same peachy pink vibe, what a wild child right! This is the pinkest of the lot, good job or else I wasn't going to be keeping it, as it looked terribly similar to The Balm's frat boy but it turns out this it much more of a true pink. I think the next blush I buy is going to have to be something neutral, I'd love to own Nars Douceur or Lustre .. mmm pretty.

What do you think of my favourites this week?

  1. I have exactly the same feelings about Brilliantime... I ended up chucking it away completely as I never could use it right...
Such a ridiculous waste of money, and especially with all the hyps arond BB products!
    Rant over!

  2. The description on the bottle of the bumble and bumble makes it sound really good, I'd love to hear if you find a way to make it work best! :)
And I can't have dairy because I think I'm intolerant to it, if you don't like soya milk stay well away from oat milk, it's way worse. You can get soya yoghurts too!! I get the alpro ones because they're actually quite nice, I wouldn't recommend the supermarket's own brand though, they always taste like weird porridge (not nice porridge)
    Lovely photos :)

    1. p.s Sorry to go on and on, but I'd definitely recommend trying out the new Alpro Almond Milk instead which I've been loving since new years. Ten times better than horrible rice milk!x

  8. That blusher is such a lovely colour! I may need to expand my blusher collection (of two products. I KNOW) Giving up cows milk is a great idea- I've given up bread and so far it isn't too bad! x

  10. Bumble and bumble Brilliantine is amazing! I agree, a little can definitely leave you with greasy hair. My favorite way to use it is to run a pea sized amount through the ends of my hair after I curl it.
