Estelle & Thild Lip Balm.

Meet my new favourite lip balm ...

I may have choked a tad when I learnt how much this lip balm actually cost, and I admit I haven't quite decided if it's actually worth it or not yet, but I do know I love it. A lot.
I haven't touched my Nuve Reve de Miel since I finally caved and opened this up last week (I've had it since last summers Selfridges beauty box) to start testing. It's a beautiful silky smooth balm that literally melts onto the lips to leave a light glossy finish and immediately starts softening any dry patches.

Lasting time isn't great, especially if you are eating or drinking anything at all, it will melt away. On it's own though it needs re-application every hour or two. I've found that because it leaves my lips so soft and in such good condition that I don't need to consciously re-apply this to keep my dry desert lips moisturised. A few times a day when I remember will do just fine.

Also, can we just talk about the packaging for a second... or 10. It's quite simply the most gorgeous little cardboard box I have ever seen & I refuse to throw it away. It's also why there's quite a few images for you to ogle at, because one (and one is all you really need.. it's only lip balm) just wasn't enough. The website for the brand is also adorable and well thought out, I love how simple their products are and would love to try maybe a cleanser or serum in the future if I ever see the products in store. The prices seem a lot more reasonable to the lip balm, around the price of REN or Liz Earle.

All in all a gorgeous lip balm that is a definite "splurge" item. I can see myself arguing with my conscious over re-purchasing this the future. Oh and it also comes in a pinky tinted version too!

  4. Nuxe Reve de Miel is one of my favourite lip balms, now I really want to try this! I also like that it's in a tube instead of a pot.
