5 Beauty Confessions.

Is this a tag? I'm not sure, my brain works in mysterious ways & I can't tell if I thought of this myself or I've read it on someone else's blog. If I have, credit to you mysterious but probably lovely blogger. Here are 5 beauty related confession that make me sound like a loon. Get the straight jacket out asap.

1. I don't own anything from mac. Not a single thing. I have never been into a mac shop, thought of buying offline or lusting after any of their seemingly overpriced nonsense and ridiculous collections. I really don't get the hype, maybe that makes me a bad blogger but hey. I just roll my eyes at yet another mac lipstick post and move on, no harm no fowl, but you won't be seeing any from me! ;)

2. I'm terrible at itching my eyes and making my eyelashes fall out. I have about 3 good ones still intact and the rest are short stumpy things waiting to fall out. This is why I have enlisted the help of an eyelash serum, here's hoping it makes them stronger!

3. I can leave the house without foundation sometimes, but never eyeliner. I have developed a little obsession with having a black line along my waterline, it started a few years ago and now I think my eyes look unnatural without it, crazy huh! (I think it's because I wear glasses too and they make my eyes creepy orbs of doom)

4. I'm a nail polish peeler. I love it when I have a good few coats on so it's really thick and peels off in one go, mmmmm satisfying.

5. Counters and the people who work on them - terrifying. I'm like a deer in the headlights if they ask me if I'm okay and would like some help. I usually say I'm fine and run off terrified (Unless I man up and want to actaully buy something). I'm 21. This is not acceptable. I also hate the thought of getting a make-over or anything done at a counter, when there are so many people wandering about the place and looking. God forbid someone looks at me! what a weirdo. I know, you don't have to say it.

I have easily thought of 7 confessions, but left two out because hey, maybe you're not ready for that kind of crazy and maybe I'll think of more and do a part 2. You're welcome ;) Maaaybe you could all do a confessions post and share them with me so I can see I'm not the only odd ball out there! :)

  1. I feel and act exactly the same as you do when it comes to the counters and people. I just hope no one is going to ask me anything. I much prefer just being left alone and browsing in peace :)

  2. I agree, Mac is so over priced and you can get make-up just as good from boots/superdrug.
I can't stand when i'm in a store and assistants constantly ask if you need help, it might be mean, but i'd ask for it if I needed it, you know?

  4. I would really recommend that you at least try a MAC lipstick... they are really nice, but I'd go into a stockist first and see which formula you prefer. You can't say it's overpriced nonsense until you've at least put a little bit on your hand :-P

  6. I'm with you on most of these, but particularly confession 5. I am exactly the same! I hate it, I avoid those people at all costs!!! Even if it means I actually zoom straight past the counter when I really needed to replace my foundation. I think we're all a little bit crazy xx

    1. Trying foundation is the worst from counters! They pressure you to slap it on your face and it's always the wrong colour! ahh

  13. I'm a polish peeler too! sometimes I paint my nails just so I can peel it off. weird. Also, I'm with you on the eyeliner thing.

My biggest confession would be that I fall to sleep with my make up on at least once a week.. and that because I only wear eye make up I've convinced myself that that's OK haha x

  18. I don't own a single mac product either and know the satisfying feeling of peeling off nail polish~

..to be honest, some of the counter people scare me off too, maybe because it's often just the two of you and it seems a little personal XD
