New in: B. Pure Micellar Water.

I don't usually blog about skincare for months and months after I've bought it, but I thought I'd make an exception today for B. A new brand that has just been released into superdrug this past week. I nipped into Superdrug last week to see if it was there (usually my local superdrug is terrible with new releases) and it was! Everything is on introductory offer at the mo, and they have some lovely (cruelty free!) bits. It all seems excellent quality and well thought out. There's an entire make-up range to be released yet (in a few days I think...) that looks really lovely and you can see it all online now- here.

Anyway, after my disastrous encounter with Avene's eye make-up remover I wasn't making that mistake again and knew I needed a micellar water. I'm so glad I found this little star! A real bargain compared to the likes of La Roche Posay, Vichy & Bioderma... I've used Bioderma and this feels no different, it's so gentle it might as well be water. There is no residue left behind on the skin and it makes easy work of all make-up. I admit I haven't used this to fully cleanse my skin yet, only to remove the bulk of my make-up before using a "real" cleanser with water and flannels and everything ;) But really, for a budget Micellar water, it's amazing. Get it.

Will you be picking up anything from B.?

  1. Ooh I really like the sound of this! I've been very loyal to my Clinique Take The Day Off and I've just got MAC Pro Eye Make Up Remover but as both are really quite pricey it's great to see such a cheap alternative. I don't think I'd use this all over my face, just for removing eye make up as I prefer a deep cleanse with a balm or hot cloth cleanser but I'd still love to hear how you get on! Also I'd really recommend picking up some muslin cloths, I feel they work so much better than flannels and have two different textured sides so that you can use the gentler one around the eyes where it's a lot more sensitive :)

    1. I have never used this alone, always followed by another cleanser so I have no idea how it is on its own :) & I'm very much a flannel girl, they retain the heat much longer and I find them very gentle indeed, muslin cloths are so flimsy and scratchy! ;)

  2. I picked this up too! I used it to take off my make-up and I was pretty darn impressed. It wasn't fantastic for eye-make-up but that is not a problem as I use something else for that normally.

I used my cleanse and polish afterwards and my skin felt amazingly soft!

  3. I really fancy trying this. I got the skin tone corrector which I like so far, too early to tell if it's actually any good yet though, and I really like the look of their eyeshadows

    1. I haven't seen any of their make-up yet but I can't wait to check it out! xo

  4. I love the sound of this - bargain skincare that's kind to skin with no nasties - exactly what I've been looking for. Thanks for the great post!

  5. I saw this in DARE magazine and I was intrigued :) nice to see the BUAV logo on their packaging! :) x

  6. Oh wow, this sounds really interesting! I really like buying cruelty free products wherever I can and Superdrug is coming to be more and more of a place to pick cruelty free products up from. I'm definitely going to be checking out the skin care range and I'm excited at the prospect of some new make-up to try xx

  7. This sounds really interesting, and such a bargain!

    I'm a new blog follower :)

  8. I've heard good things about the tea tree toner, my skin is quite dry and I've got lots of spots that don't disappear for ages! I think I will give it a go.
    Nice blog!

  9. This looks great! I have always wanted to try bioderma but it seems so expensive for what it is, given you can't buy it in stores either. Will need to try this out, great find :)
