A Review: Bumble & Bumble Tonic Lotion.

Meet my hair's new BFF. I've wanted to try something from Bumble and Bumble for ages now, I'm not sure why I'm so drawn to the brand, maybe it's the pretty packaging, the fun factor or the fact it all seems so good. I decided on the Tonic Lotion in the end as my hair can be really knotty and unmanageable at the moment. It has gotten so long. In fact I think this is the longest I've had my hair since I was teeny weenie and could practically sit on it. (My mum sat me down one day and cut it all off... but we wont go into that shall we, mother?!)

The Tonic lotion is a blend of vitamins, herbs and tea tree oil, it's meant to help with tangles while soothing sensitive scalps and lightly nourishing your hair. I've been using this after every hair wash to help with those dreaded knots and keep my hair feeling tip-top (while I put off getting it cut). I have been so impressed with this and really notice a difference in my hair when I forget to use it. I let my hair air dry 99% of the time and without it my hair is a wild mess, this definitely calms it and lets me skip battling with my straighteners most days.

Another thing I love is the tea tree smell, It's not too heavy and doesn't linger in your hair but it smells so nice. The tea tree, peppermint and nettle extracts combined are all excellent ingredients for those of us with sensitive scalps and it feels so soothing when sprayed at the roots, my boyfriend can vouch for this! He has a really fussy head, the slightest sign of SLS and he's in real pain, poor guy. You needn't worry either, this is so light it wont weigh down your hair at all.

Have you tried anything from Bumble and Bumble? I can't wait to get my hands on some more bits, if only it wasn't so pricey....

  1. I'd love to try some B&B products but their prices put me off so much, especially for the size of the bottles! One day, though! xx

  5. I've been using this Tonic for awhile. At first I didn't really see the point in it but I love using it in my hair when I thin it and generally it just feels refreshing. I'd recommend trying the tonic shampoo too. It smells the same and really cleans your hair (especially if you have a lot of it, like me.) x

  8. Glowing skin is a must for us girls, so it is fine that we gonna need some magic pill to help us acquire it.
