Quick Reviews .. #2

Another batch of miniatures I've tested out! Would I buy the full size products? Perhaps you should read on and see... ;)

First up is the Aesop Parsley Seed Anti-Oxidant Serum which I got in my Selfridges beauty box over summer. I LOVE this! I'm going to say that this has been one of the reasons my skin has been so well behaved recently and seems to be clearing up a treat! Its quite a thick and sticky serum but sinks into the skin so easily, it smells strongly of lavender which I love, but I know quite a few people hate(?!) My little 15ml bottle has about a third left and I'm trying so hard to be careful with it, I just want to slather it all over my face!! I would definitely buy the full size... if it wasn't over £40.

Next is the teeny pot with a number one sticker on (not sure why it's there!) it's the Origins Make A Difference Plus+ Rejuvenating Treatment which like the Aesop serum is to treat dehydration. I've seen a lot of rave reviews for this lately so managed to get hold of a sample to try it out thanks to the nice lady at the Origins counter. This is a really light gel consistency and I feel as a night cream it isn't rich enough for my skin and so perhaps the moisturiser would be better. I'm not sure if I would go out and buy the full size, more testing required.

I have had the The Ogario Restore & Shine Hair Masque sitting in my shower (empty) for SO long now, I got this little sample pot for free months ago when they had a little promo going on (you basically just had to email them your address and BAM - free hair mask! The smell was something else, absolutely gorgeous, so fresh with lemons and a hint of lavender (If I remember correctly). Unfortunately though I didn't see any results worthy of the full size £24 price tag :(

Lastly! (still awake?!) there's the teensy little bottle of the Clarins Lotus Oil - a treatment oil designed for oily/combination skin types. I used this up a long time ago now and have had the box lying around to remind me that I loved it and should snap a bottle up should the opportunity arise, doubtful of that seeing as it costs £29! May have to see if I can beg for another sample in the meantime, literally a terrifying thought at the Clarins counter, they're so fancy! It was such a lovely product though and I felt it really helped balance my often oily t-zone.
