Naked haircare - Part 1

I'm sure if you're the casual peruser of Boots or Superdrug (like myself... often) you will have seen some products by Naked, or is it 'naked bodycare'? either way, I happen to have built myself up quite the collection of their shampoos and conditioners now, but have yet to get hold of one of their hair masks, they never seem to be in any store?!

Our first purchase of Naked was actually for Michael and his poor sensitive scalp. I'd seen the range in boots and was interested in trying them out. I can't remember exactly but I think there was a pretty good offer on, where we got the mild shampoo for thee and the intensive rescue range for me. I (&him!) have been hooked ever since.

Rescue: My first foray into the world of naked and managed to impress me enough to want to buy the whole lot. I'm not fussy when it comes to shampoo, I look for something that won't strip my coloured hair, will actually leave my hair feeling clean and isn't tested on animals - this ticked all the boxes so I'm happy. The conditioner is something else, it's like butter & now I'm nearing the end of the tube it's near impossible to squeeze out with one hand and into the other, I think I need to cut it open and transfer it to a tub. Anywaaay! It leaves my hair so so soft - at the time I started using this my hair was in pretty bad shape, I wasn't using anything on it like I do today so it really needed some love. I'm pretty sure this conditioner was the love it needed at the time ;) A firm budget fave that I recommend if your hair is in  pretty bad shape. I would love to try the hair mask from this range!

Smooth: A relatively new one to me that I was drawn to by the scent, it's mouth watering, like zingy grapefruit! As usual, the shampoo even though it smells gorgeous is just a shampoo, it cleans my hair effectively, just like it should! The conditioner isn't as thick as the intensive care one, but I do notice a slight difference in my hair once it's dry in that it's a tad more relaxed - a hard task when my natural hair is a flicky-wavy mess! My hair is indeed left soft and smooth feeling and I have been enjoying using this duo lately, these would be perfect to wake you up in a morning shower! :)

All Naked shampoo and conditioners are priced at £3.98 on their own website, and £4.19 at boots. Their hair masks are priced at £7.99, but the shine treatment mask is currently on offer for £3.98 (for 400ml!!) Want!!

I still have the rest of my collection to show you yet! & there's plenty more I'd love to try, eep!
Pretty sure I'm Naked obsessed, are you? :)

  1. I didn't have much success with the naked shampoos, I do like the heat protection spray and OOh La La shower gel is one of my regularly purchases

  6. Natural care is that the best look after hair treatment. I even have dry hair and that i use egg with mustard oil each alternate day to form sleek and satiny hair. conjointly there's some treatment for hair however I like natural care. I even have few additional strategies for dry hair treatment and is incredibly helpful. i actually appreciate your article.
