Supplement your beauty.

It's official, my face is in boot camp. I'm starting to take supplements. I thought I'd do a little intro post today, then update you in a few months time on any improvements and such :)
So yes! lately I have been having the most annoying stream of spots on my face, there is always at-least one, and when that disappears (and scars me horrendously for a few months) another one is ready and waiting to show its face. It's just annoying, sometimes painful and most of the time embarrassing. I feel likes it's always all eyes on that red thing on Annabel's face! ha! ha! I'm sure it's not, but you get my drift, spots are bitches. (No sugar coating here)

I've been reading Caroline's blog and she talks about supplements like they're going out of fashion and recommends them to nearly everyone in the clinic, so it got me doing my homework and looking at all the different supplements and vitamins, boy, there's a lot.

Obviously I wanted some good old fish oil (but am thinking about changing to flax seed oil soon - the vegetarian alternative) and chose the very reasonably priced tub from Higher Nature on Feel unique, only £3 something!
Next up I have some B Vitamins, all good for your skin, hair and such and the bought-on-a-whim clear complexion tablets, a herbal remedy that cost me a mere £2 from tesco. I also already take vitamin C regularly and the occasional multi-vitamin with iron when I remember!

Obviously I didn't think about the size of the fish oil capsules, ack! I'm such a wuss and can only swallow these with a very fizzy drink so I don't feel them go down as much! Once these are used up I'll be buying smaller dose ones, even if it means I have to take a few at once, I'd rather do that than choke! ;)

I'll update you soon, but I'm hopeful that these will lead me to a healthier me with better skin! :)

  1. I can't wait to see how these work for you. I've wanted to take various supplements for years, but my Mum's a nurse so won't let me take anything I don't "need", but I know I need them. Hope it works for you!

  3. I would love to know how you get on with these in a little while, I have the best intentions when it comes to supplements but I ALWAYS seem to forget to take them! Would be really interesting to see if they make a real difference! xo

  4. Oooh thank you! :)
I'm hoping it is going to make a difference, but these kind of things take time and I am so impatient :P

  5. Hi, Anabel! I am your newest follower (Found you via your guest post on Modern Buttercup!) I really need to do this, I'm 26 and still am 'suffering' from adult acne, ugh. Hate it! But taking too many vitamins tends to make me feel a little ill. I wish you the best with this! I hope it works well for you!
