REN - clean skincare.

First up I absolutely need to tell you about REN's current deal for any first time customer (sadly not me *cries*) that I'm on the verge of making my boyfriend make an account for, it's that good. 10% off your first order, 4 samples with any order, free shipping AND a free six of the best kit with ANY purchase if you use the code 'RENHANDBAG' at checkout. You could just buy some muslin cloths and get all that, but I would recommend you try one of their incredible masks or moisturisers (please?!) The code expires August 1st.. so hop to it!!

Anyway, back to my original post. I decided to dip my toes into the world of REN at the beginning of last month, they had an equally fab deal on where I got a full-size glycolactic mask for free with a purchase.. so you know, I went all out and bought this little kit and the AHA concentrate with my 10% off too (which I shall review eventually... slow poke that I am) ;)

The box was a lot smaller than anticipated, but contains perfectly sized trial products, there is definitely enough in each tube for you to make up your mind if you like them or not, or if you just want to take them on holiday. It took me 2 weeks to use up the cleanser and I have already bought the full size (from the bargain land of ebay brand new boxed and only £9!) as it is very liquid like, however I still have 2 or 3 uses of the mask and plenty of the moisturiser left, which is incredible.

I don't think I can rave about a moisturiser any more if I tried, it is just perfect. I only need a small amount for my whole face (any more and things get greasy) and it sinks in almost immediately, leaving me matte (!!!!) for the whole day. I was in awe the first few times I used this, nothing has ever combated my oily t-zone quite so well. I'm dithering over purchasing the full size now because it retails for £26, however... it's love, guys.

I'm probably going to end up with the mask in full size too, it leaves my skin so soft and clean. I'm on  the hunt for a really strong clay mask at the moment but there are so many out there!

Have you tried REN or are you going to? :)

  1. I haven't tried REN. That moisturizer sounds pretty amazing.

I really want to try REN products and I actually picked up this kit but then decided against it. Big mistake : ( I think I will definitely have to take advantage of the discount code though.

  3. Oh temptation!! You've got me trawling their site looking at the wondrous things :) I'm wary of changing my face routine - I recently incorporated a new eye cream and different moisturiser in. But I think I'm going to order the 2 muslin cloths (as I could do with some anyway!) and try the free samples out so I can decide if I should purchase any full sized products :) I'm still on the hunt for the perfect moisturiser and I've got to admit yours sounds perfect!!! Thanks for the heads up :) xx
